There are lots of ways to help your child at home, and having a structure for your day will help. Try to have work activities mixed with outside games and time to relax.

Physical Activities

On youtube search for 'Go Noodle', 'Joe Wicks 5 minute workouts' and 'Just Dance Kids' for short and fun videos for children to move along with. - Yoga stories and movement videos that the children enjoy copying.

Make some playdough and let the children explore. There are lots of recipes available online that use household items. Try 2 cups of flour, 1 cup of salt, 3 tablespoons cream of tartar, 2 tablespoons oil and 2 cups of boiling water and mix together. If you want to add colour try paint or food colouring, essential oils, or glitter. Children can then go to the Dough DIsco!

Literacy Activities

Children will be bringing home their writing books, so please feel free to continue writing in these.

Ideas for writing could be drawing animals, food, family members and labelling with words or sentences. We start lots of our sentences with 'It is' or 'It has', so let your child have a go at writing!
